Regarding the Lockheed IAFIS in Washington, are they using ten print workstations with the system or is this strictly the database for matching prints that are submitted for background checks? Also if they are using the workstations what equipment did they use, Identix?

The Gartner view on biometrics may not be very positive but remember, Randy Fowler thinks 1998 might be the year biometrics begins to go mainstream.
