Ed,
You're comment reminded me of Police Academey and the Chief of Police getting a knobbber from a gal under the podium. You never know with Bill; How many times did he smile???;-)

You know, I think this thing with Clinton thing is a disaster.

What kind of country are we that we would destroy the effectiveness of the government because MAYBE the President had an affair that he didn't want to admit? I can't believe the tabloid-stick-it-to-him attitude people on SI take toward this.

Here's a guy who has the good economic sense to stear the country into what might be a sustainable economic paradise, putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into our pockets, creating yet unseen wealth for our selves and our kids for decades to come, and you're ready to kill him. Fools.

Unfortunately, Clinton is not going to give in at all. He's a fighter and he won't resign easy like Nixon. If we go to impeachment proceedings, it could take more than a year. This country might come apart. And it's sad, because I firmly believe that most people (outside of SI) like Clinton and see this as unwarranted intrusion.
