I do not think I would be shorting NSCP at these levels. Certainly think there are much better targets. Think you should look at YHOO and CSCO for possible short opportunities.

Think we are close to the bottom. Long term I think Netscape is a great buy.

I think you are making a big mistake shorting Nscp here. You refer to mistakes you made in the past, this may be a new one for the future. Short term it is hard to predict which way it will go, but the bounce to (currently) 165/8 and the rumor of a possible takeover/buyout, makes it very unwise being short here. I am not even selling calls short term because I want to see if any of these buyout rumours re-emerge. Seems to me that the report of yesterday shows everything I would want to hear about a company I own in terms of aggressively addressing problems. If Monday morning we hear Orcl is buying Nscp at 25+, it will hurt you badly. You thought it through but not well enough IMO. Steve D.
