Not every problem has a solution. By being unwilling to stamp out the virus by restrictive measures, we are all now totally screwed unless an effective vaccine or a miraculous therapy shows up. More likely the pharma companies will promise the moon, get richer, and deliver little any time soon.

'How the hell are we going to do this?' The panic over reopening schools
This is a very important issue. There isn't a single method or procedure that will be good for school systems across the United States. What is appropriate for Houston or Miami may not be appropriate for a rural school system in a sparsely populated area.

People need to become comfortable with the idea that "reopening schools" does not mean just open the schools and send everybody back to the bus stops and classrooms as was done before the pandemic. There will be a couple of years of "new normal" when it comes to education.

Best wishes,

I2
