Hi Arik,

I'm not much at market history, and our resident historian, Joe G is no longer posting, so I'll direct the question to you, but would appreciate anyone's opinion; what's a typical blowoff look like? My scant memories of the nifty-fifty were large caps trading at 40 to 50 price-earnings and I think it lasted about two quarters.

best, art

We are in Alice in Wonderland.

The President's life is like a Jerry Springer show and his ratings are at all time highs. World economies are failing and gold is still near multi-year lows. Our market is near all-time highs yet we have a slowing economy, while interest rates and commodities have no place to go but up.

Oh well, I guess its time to buy -g-.
