Becoming the new bid or ask and seeing it happen immediately is one of my favorite features of Datek. I believe I have done it on all exchanges. I really enjoy it when there is a large spread on NASDAQ and someone is pushing it on a low bid, my bid is usually snapped right up with a limit order just above theirs.

I really enjoy the comprehensive real time features of Datek.

I'll have to double-check next time I trade an Amex security, but I think my bid or ask price does show up if it's between the pre-existing bid/ask.

I use PCQuote real-time, and I don't get the number of shares at the bid/ask for AMEX stocks. Don't know why.

If this information is incorrect, I will update you next time I trade an AMEX security, probably a WEBS.
