Thanks for that link. I was also struck by their supposition that the median number of days between symptom onset and seeking outpatient care was up to 2 days for 35% and 65% up to 6 days. Zelenko advises treatment beginning after 5 days has a lower rate of success and in general, the sooner the better. After seeking treatment, they still have to be tested, and get results unless the doc is will to start treatment based on symptoms alone. This seems like a problem for early treatment. If you get sick today how long does it take to get treated? Is it practical to set up special use clinics that can process a large number of people, get them tested immediately, and started on some treatment? I don’t think anyone is even trying.
