Here in the Bay Area, we're back to not enough testing capacity and very, very long lines at many sites so who will want to get tested unless they absolutely have to for employment? This will make the "infection rate" soar which is what we are seeing... The standard is 10% to shut down but our governor wants 8% so he can start shutting things down again before it gets to 10% and quickly gets out of control. I think it is a decent idea but a stupid measurement if you have limited ability to test so only those who think they are sick or exposed to someone who is sick spend hours in lines to get tested. In Napa, where it hasn't been as much a problem, my brother got tested this week in 15 minutes. He did it since he sees a lot of customers selling wine at the wholesale level and working with people doing landscaping work at their house. His older wife has many secondary conditions so he wanted to be careful before they do some local vacation things together next week. I'd say tell that to the police in line being shouted at from 6 inches....
