Glen,
We had discussions when oil began to drop a few weeks ago about demand, etc.My argument(which i still maintain) is:
1.Population is always increasing therefore so is demand.Recent postings show that demand is still increasing worldwide this year, just not as fast!
2.Mid east situation volatility will cause spikes up and down along the way.Look at it from the viewpoint of the Saudis....what else do you(a Saudi) have to sell as an export?Nothing. They will insure oil stays up there.remember, Iraq is trying to split the Saudis apart. Not a lot of love lost there.

50-51 on EVI...who knows.I'd like to see CDG hit 50!I think owning long is safer and more profitable at this point.

I appreciate your confidence in the turnaround but do you think it is merely a reflection of the markets recent strength - It makes me nervous when my stocks cannot even squeeze out a 1/16 gain on such a strong day - Maybe clinton owns the same stocks I do....

I heard this one today and well I just thought i would bring a little humor to this somber site.

Clinton finally came out and took a stand on the accusations being levied against him - he said " I did not lie in deposition, I said lie in this position"

Glen-
<Do you think we can see a 25% gain in a month and a half?>

Yes! One month ago I bought some shares of a tech stock which has been a dog for 2 years and today it's up over 40% from where I bought it. See, even **I** do things right once in awhile.

As for tech & oil stocks, I, like many others, came over here to escape the tech wreck only to find an oil slick. Somebody clean up that slick, please!
