I know nothing of Osicom, but I found this thread in a search for info on ABCN. I own Loral, who is building satellites for L-Star, a project once involving ABCN. Here is what I know. First of all, I saw a post stating that an orbital slot is worth $750 million. That is absolutely false. If the slots are truly useful, they might be worth $200 million. That is the estimated value Loral put on the slots of SatMex when they bought their stake. Those were prime slots. Secondly, ABCN had to sell its controlling stake in L-Star to UCom, another Thai company, back in early fall. I could not find a stock quote on ABCN on the Stock Exchange of Thailand site, but it may be there. It was part of a conglomerate owned by the M Group, run by Sondi Limthongkul, who had wanted to become the Rupert Murdoch of Asia. I know the newspaper they started failed. I do not know the status of ABCN, but I am sure it is not good. I do not believe L-Star is in good shape either if ABCN still owns any of that.
