It depends upon how one defines a "new /better system". Chump was able to run his con on the ignorant and the stupid in 2016, and the rich took advantage of that and looted the treasury through tax cuts. Now that the money is gone Chump is expendable. Republican dreams of a return to a feudal society are going down in flames with him. The uncertainty and dysfunction will be good for gold and silver, as you have pointed out over the years. How the average American comes out of this I don't know. What longer term changes will result from this self inflicted catastrophe I'll leave for folks smarter than I am to predict. In the short run at least Democrats now realize the cost of their hubris in 2016.
