WSTL down in after hours trading from 13 1/2 to 12 11/16, last trade 12 15/16.

Anyone know what's going on here? Is there some news?

Can someone else confirm the after hours activity? I just checked PCQUOTE.

andreas--

good point, but they havent decided to kill us off yet. the difference is the big boys normally buy out the smaller fish. its easier than competing with them, and it keeps the market stable. price wars just eat profits and they take a long time. CPQ and HWP tried to kill off dell and gateway in the same manner, and it hasnt worked yet.

of course, the same thing applies to the modem end<G>. either way, i think there will be a merger between WSTL and another, and that the combined entity will be purchased by a large company.

good luck to all,
trey
