Facebook, twitter, youtube, etc. are under constant monitoring by Homeland Insecurity and comply with government requests to censor information as seen by the suppression of COVID-19 info that is counter to the officially sanctioned message. For sure, Homeland Insecurity is doing what they can to monitor TikTok users as well, but I suspect that it is technically difficult at this time and reigning it in will include both making it easy to snoop on and enabling censorship.
