Question on the Palm Pilot: My roommate didn't use his Palm Pilot for about six weeks, then tonight when he tried to use it he discovered the batteries were dead. After replacing them with new batteries, he was surprised to find that when the Palm Pilot started up all of his information (addresses, etc.) had been erased. Now he has an essentially empty, like-new Palm Pilot.

So, the question is, how long is the Palm Pilot supposed to be able to store information after the batteries die?
