Its crazy. Do you have a link to that article? What is also crazy and I try to point out to those here pushing the "well intentioned nonsense" is by removing the choice to use NG for heating and cooking in new homes is they put more pressure on the already under powered grid thus making it both more expensive and unreliable for us all. It is tough though when the school kids march on the streets and stop traffic demanding our local leaders solve climate change so they don't die... so they do these meaningless but symbolic gestures like outlawing NG in new home construction and more importantly here, whole house tear downs and rebuilds.
