As an FYI, there are no left leaning parties in the US. There is only right of the center and way way right of the center. These parties have wings that span centrist and way right of the center to ultra whacko right of the center. But the Left is an an extinct species in the US. Which is why Americans have to point to other countries when they want to talk about a living specimen.
