Dauntless, I didn't say anything in my last post that you hadn't already stated yourself. The only thing I did was provide clarity for others. If your ties to Zonagen were so obvious, then why did four or five people sound surprised when I posted the same information? While you admit you are not a scientist, you feel comfortable discussing the analytic tools used to assay phentolamine in the different studies you've cited. You also have had the time to obtain studies that support your opinion. Normally, I wouldn't question it (you don't see me questioning other people (e.g., Dr. Voodoo) do you? -- okay, maybe Keith, but he's a special situation), but it seems somewhat unusual that you should have such a wealth of knowledge given your non-scientific background. Doesn't it? Maybe you think I should only comment on your analysis and its scientific value, but I haven't. I now believe that you are acting as a mouthpiece for Zonagen to defend themselves from this attack by Asensio (by the way, I've never condoned any information in Asensio's releases, but they sure have shed more light on this drug and its development). It's fine if you are protecting your friends/former co-workers, but at least be upfront about it. Why do you believe that it is evil to mention Schering AG in the context of ImmuMax? The reference to Schering AG was clearly in the same paragraph with the ImmuMax reference. How can I be more clearer? Schering AG has a call to ImmuMax. The story was that this call was going to be exercised before year end. Now, the deadline for the call is June '98? My question is legitimate in the context of your last post. You are defending the value of ImmuMax, I'm wondering why the long-time partner, Schering AG, hasn't paid anything to acquire the rights to the product. While I apologize to everyone for being fooled by Joe P's confident voice on the conference call, it is possible that I'm not the only who feels this way. Remember, the stock was selling in the mid-30s and it sounded like Zonagen really may have been onto something having just announced the Schering deal. Joe P was telling us that an NDA filing was "imminent." Unfortunately, information contradicting Zonagen's trials and background was made public. Since that time, Zonagen's stock has declined more than 50%. To stop the decline, Zonagen promised to provide detailed information in a "white paper". Instead, the company provided a weak and anachronistic account of Vasomax's drug development history. I'm sorry to disappoint everyone, but I don't fall in love with stocks. I invest in companies that have potential. I now question that potential given that an NDA filing does not appear likely until June. Pfizer will be approved by this time, and Zonagen will be at the mercy of an 18 month review by the FDA. That means that the soonest it would be on the market is 2000. Zonagen's bankers, Volpe and Raymond James, have not adjusted the models and both are expecting sales of $200 million in 1999. This is next to impossible. So, I'm waiting for information to change my mind. BTW, was the rumor about Podolski being a "meat salesman" true? (an impotence company being run by a "meat salesman" would be too ironic) Tokyo
