I think they can be compared very well, when you think of creaf a few years ago. They approached exactly the same kind of consumers with their sound cards at a time when there were only pc's without any sound card equipped. That time creaf was also a hype stock rising nearly five times in value within two years. Afterwards it fell deeply . Because there comes a time when fundamentals will count and they do not allow such high evaluations for a long time.

I am not interested in 3dfx as a company, but only in a short term investment. There is a lot of fantasy left in tdfx for the next quarter.

Ok, earnings are out of the way now, so where do we go from here?

There are quite a few stories out there to reckon with that may have a +/- impact on the price, some of them being;
Intel's upcoming i740 chip,
the Voodoo2 chip,
the Sega lawsuit resolution,
Asia, a non-story now ?,
is the 6-mo lockup period over, we should be seeing some selling?,

The last one concerns me near term if the time period is not yet over, anyone know about this??
