I think it's helpful to have a different point of view, and thanks for providing that. However, JMO, I think your post would have been more effective if you had stated the reasons for your conclusion, and refrained from the personal attack ...

I don't do cat fights. You are entitled to your opinion, and if you feel Sybase has superior products that's just fine with me, but the market does not share your opinion.
