thats 24Meg/hr /3600 = 6666.66 Bytes/sec * 8bits/byte = 53333.33bits/sec

I realize that you are estimating, but this isn't very impressive for that price, plus the extra phone line to transmit on. When I really think about how much I need fast access I always come to the same conclusion. When I am *working* on the internet 28K-53K is usually enough. I'll start the big uploads at night usually. But, when I am playing/surfing on the internet, nothing is fast enough (DNS queries are too slow, damn it). Someday it'll be here though.
