YouTube has become a video version of Wikipedia.

I like a lot of those too. Lately I've gotten hooked on some normal people who document their very normal an boring lives on YouTube channels.

Today I'm going to mow the lawn and water the garden. The chickens have stopped laying for some reason. I'm going into town to buy some 2X4s.

I don't myself understand what the attraction is. It's just calming.

I could find nearly all those worthy of some time. My interests vary enough that I would never be bored. I spend a great deal of time searching for watercolor painters who share their work and demonstrate their skills. Many of the best watercolor artists alive today have videos. Much of this is a 2 or 3 minute clip from a 60 minute instruction DVD they offer for sale. I buy many of them. I've watched those DVD's more times than I can count. I pick up some subtle tip of value nearly each time I watch.
