You seem to agree with this:

Famed divorce lawyer Raoul Felder
said she's still a victim and the fact that
she admits to the affair with a married
teacher only makes her more
sympathetic.

"The more they talk about her, the more
she fits the profile for someone who'd
get involved in this," he said.

"It's a pattern," Felder said. "A girl with
this kind of profile would allow herself to
get sucked in - no pun intended."

Felder added that even if she has some
kind of sex obsession, overall Clinton
could be viewed as taking advantage of
her.

"She's a victim ... She was a
21-year-old girl and he was the
president - the most powerful man in the
world. It's not even comparable."

I don't agree. Really not. You make your choices, and it ain't a bit fair to say afterwards that you were a "victim". Old. And a a sorry excuse.

As the parent of a daughter, I agree with you totally, Alexa. Of course Monica is acting out, very self-destructively, on a huge scale. But as I pointed out on another thread, she obviously has not only longstanding self-esteem problems, but at the very least, a mother who was apparently a very bad example, in that she was a sexual predator with married men. Not as much as known about her father, yet, but from the divorce petition it seems he may have treated her very harshly, and did not give her the approval little girls need from their fathers to grow up reasonably healthy, emotionally speaking.

I am glad that you also pointed out that this was not in any way reciprocal sex--Clinton was using her for his own sexual gratification.

One of the really slimy things going on here is that we are seeing the usual Clinton administration attempt to discredit her as one of the "nuts and sluts" who prey on the president. This is very similar to the "bimbo eruptions" we saw in the 1992 campaign, and in my opinion is a dichotomy which is inexcusable with a supposedly feminist president.
