Japan big stimulas package may alleviate fears of recession to some degree- India's problems are centred around political instability and I think we may see a stable government soon after these elections. On global overcapacity threats I pin my hopes on revival in Europe I see a big boom soon as 'Mastricht criterion impediments' are gradually removed as constraints on demand, I see 1999-2000 as growth years for humanity and expect Japan to catch up with rest of the world in third quarter 1998- I see affluence expanding like fire even in poverty stricken communities ofcourse Zeev it is a relative phenomenon but I see pockets of demand emerging and I keep my hopes of a big leap forward in human effort to confront misery poverty and disease-
'Globalisation of markets' where in US people recently realised that how much important it is that hunanity may collectively thrive we are no more insulated from cross border fianacial upheavels affecting distant regions, US corporate America is still not trading at a premium which it deserve to provide future services to 3/4 of mankind 'have- nots' this is my very very big picture but I don't see things in isolation- in my opinion we are gradually moving towards a global integrated economy little do we realise that on this global stage howmuch of our well being stems from distant lands never before manking and humanity havr lived thru such intersting times. Thanks for sparing me some time.
