This home has burnt in two wildfires, once almost completely during construction and a second time after it was finished - and you can seen the dense forests surrounding it.

In the second photo you can witness the careless flammable concrete and bare earth our friends used to surround their home.

A completely mad location to build a home, but wonderful fun with a highly-flammable metal roof and cement covered walls - and yet it has nearly burnt down completely twice due to the intense heat of the fires.

The surrounding Angeles National Forest in need of a rake, some claim.

Truly a daft place for a home right off Highway 2.

Underground water reservoir and backup generator

Alas, If only this national forest had sold off these mighty scrub bushes to timber companies.
