HI bernie,

We made chips in the dehydrator from cucumbers.

We flavored them with seas salt and vinegar, some with cayenne.

I thought they would have been soggy after being put in the fridge, but they became more crispy.

We've made a lt of zucchini bread. some sweet and some cheesy - excellent with chili.

This weekend I'm going to do my first batch of salsa - hoping to find 100nred tomatoes so I can start with a double batch.

Excellent pepper crop this year, cayenne better than ever before, serranos are plentiful and the good news is the jalapenos are huge - was forced to try two new seeds, Dante and everman. The everman was huge and I'll continue to use them next year.

Squash is doing great as well.

Our freezer is full with "Monte Gusto: yellow pole beans from France.

All in all a great year again.

I'm hooked on adding peat moss and Black Cow compost in the spring.

Will you be able to transfer all of your items from the garden at the university?

Anxious to see pics after you get settled in - lots of work coming your way Bernie - wishing you friends that help.<smile>

Bob
