Michael, can you tell me whether the EPP Zip Plus uses the same EPP device driver (in which case, the Zip Plus continues to speak SCSI command set) or requires a new custom EPP driver (ala the EPP-EIDE external CD-ROM and HDD's)?

Also, how is it that you only need one cable for the Zip Plus? The EPP port on a PC is a female DB25, while SCSI connectors are usually the HD50 or the older (ugh) "Centronics" 50 (both female). Granted, I know that older Mac's used DB25, but surely not any of the current generation Mac's!

Re; SyJet SCSI/PP

Wow! I never knew that I could use my SCSI SyJet on a PC PP port with only an adaptor cable! I havn't really had any concern over it, since I generally use only Macs, and video/audio gear uses SCSI exclusively as well. If I ever migrate to a Wintel machine, this is great news. I wouldn't have to buy another external drive for it.

(Unless a 4.7 GiG Quest is in the equation!)
