"very fast computer-controlled micromachining" Cool! Say no more... I'm in! Seriously, I think you are right this is a big intermediate-term growth area. Also we *may* be set up for another small-cap momentum run, as long as Asia can maintain the semblance of holding things together for a month or two, which I think it can. Farther down the line, I tend to agree with those on the thread & elsehwere who think a second Asian crisis will come once IMF austerity kicks in, output drops steeply, and *maybe* Japan fails to deal with its problems and/or China devalues. It may be hard to keep this in mind as the next phase of the rally (sorry, dead cat bounce -g-) develops. Due to error/mixup (undead order) bought twice as many esio shares yesterday as I had planned to. I don't think I'm going to call them on it! Looks like TER is indeed benefitting from the MU test bottleneck claims, as Ian points out. Mike Burke thinks this is just their excuse for inventories building up; I dunno... Mason says it's a sell but I'm being piggish on BRKS this time. Already sold PRIA though, and will regret it I'm sure. (Already do!) If I weren't already so loaded with SFAM I'd follow Mason's "sale-o-the- day" advice on it. The fact that it's sluggish today seems like a warning of some sort of bad news in the works... but this stock trades weirdly... tends to lag back sometimes, then follow the sector both on the up & downside. Probably fairly good target for MM manipulation though I've been told that's a myth -g-. High R&D cutting into free cash flow? Welcome to tech stock land! (Still, this has proved very relevant to dilution issues with SFAM, as David pointed out... ) Howard
