The analysts are completely intimidated. Some bright boy at Merrill Lynch or Fidelity will issue a private buy report this week or next and UP SHE GOES. You can trust the trading ranges 90% of the time -- I've only gotten burned twice, shorting TER and COHU, (two of my favorite value plays, boy did that hurt). But then I've made money on the rest, even long on SMTL and short ASM. PS Does anybody know if TER is establishing relationships with other ASDL chipset or modem providers? A huge potential market and right up Teradyne's alley, with their credentials in both chips and telecommunications. Other meaning other than Motorola.
