It is not "parsing" words to determine whether the claim that Cox "chaired" JFK's campaign is true or not. Either he did or he didn't. Duncan says he did, the rest of us on this thread say he didn't. Was Cox a Democrat who supported JFK? Of course, he was a JFK supporter. Since he was only around for a short while before being fired, his role was not really analogous to Starr's anyway, so his partisanship is speculative.
