G* launch Feb 5. You probably are referring to Iridium launch from California. I still plan to be at the Cape next week.

There is much ado on LOR. The company is laying off 300 employees because of the Asian flu. Two satellites nearing completion now have no customer. Likely a good time to buy at the low. With all the shorts, and arbitrage (sp?), THEY just had to drop the price and that was a good enough reason. Also, they didn't want to pay off my Feb 22.5s.

I think your prognosis is correct on near term. The MMs make their money going up and going down and business has been good for them. There is still a problem at the funds. Where to put all that money. That might be enough of a reason to try to squeeze a new high from the DOW.

JBIL still looks like Fenton will make his high to short in JBIL. I still have some Mar 30s to sell. Real cheap.
