I used to remember the feeling of, as a little kid, looking out the window and seeing the first snow of the season. Last time I looked though the memory was gone.

Another reason we like living here is low property taxes. About $1,150/yr. for this home, 29 surface acres & mineral rights on over 100. About 40% of what we paid in Columbus, Oh. blurb in 2007 for smaller house on 2/3 of an acre.

Property tax savings alone paid for completing the restoration of large 19th Century home AWA most of the expensive upgrades we wanted. Energy savings due to direct supply of natural gas from well, other side of the hill, paid for the rest of the upgrades.

Iso
