If you can tolerate wearing a mask, it is a good thing to do. I can't tolerate wearing a mask for even 5 minutes without getting tightness in my throat and upper respiratory area. And I have even gotten pains in my chest when I take off the mask. But I do wear a face shield, which is next best, without a problem.

I do think some people are obsessed with wearing face masks. For instance, I see people riding in their car by themselves with a face mask and that's ridiculous.

Bottom line: Masks help contain the virus if you can tolerate them.
