bap, that quote was taken from the New York Post web site. I wasn't aware that the New York Times had made the same claim. I would be interested in that link if you have it.

In the event that the New York Times has not reprinted opinion articles from the NY Post, I think you made a bit of a jump in supposing that I take the conspiracy theory seriosly. If you are supporting the position of this quote, which I am recopying for your convenience, I would be intrigued to hear your intrepretation.

Between them, the Clintons have poisoned public discourse in this country. Night after night, young families are subjected to the sordid, obscene details of Bill Clinton's sex life being bombarded into their living rooms. Each day, it gets worse. You wonder where it is all going to end.
