Folks on the thread, I want to echo TCLAUDE's comments. I'm not as far along as he, but I too don't want to enter in with questions that have been answered. I have read some thousands (though less than half) of the posts here, as well as related threads, such as TC2000, Quotes plus, and Metastock. Maybe in a few weeks I can ask some more pertinent questions. But I hope you understand the difficulty of reading without being able to relate firsthand to many of the topics discussed, and how quickly software reccomendations get out of date. I want to obtain some or some set of packages to get my feet wet in order to be able to understand what the later 4000 posts (and many of the first 3000) are talking about. Many of the software and package comments in particular change monthly. I was trying to frame a post to ask this before the last set of messages came across. I guess I'll go back and work on that a bit. I also sympathize with the generous people here who've answered the same questions twenty times too often. I've been there and done that. I will attempt not to intrude unduly. Regards Spots
