Today's "Afternoon Call" from the DW web site highlighted the BPOTC as having "reversed up" today and suggesting this a very bullish event. My BPOTC chart is a long way from any formal Buy Signal, so it is clear that the reversal up was merely into a column of X's. If so, then it is interesting that something less of a formal "Buy Pattern" is sufficient to turn a Market Indicator Bullish, whereas stocks seem to require an actual Buy Signal (Double Top, Triangle, etc.) The X's seem to put the offense on the field so far as indicators go, but stock selection is based on actual Buy/Sell signals.

Am I close here?
