Everyone is entitled ( stressing entitled) to a living wage. In fact, even that is to low. We need to get to $20 an hour at least.

It always comes back to bridging the insane gap of income inequality.

Although I have profited from the capitalist system, my allegiance is to the worker, not the capitalist.

That don't mean I will always be on the side of the worker. Capitalists deserve to earn more because some of them risk their own money and have much more responsibility. The question is always how much more. Pure capitalism says the sky is the limit. Liberals, progressives and most Dems think that limit must be regulated somewhat. AC wants it regulated quite a bit, liberals less so and centrist Democrats even less. I am in the liberal camp.

And I did answer your question. It is always a question of priorities.

“McDonald's thanks you for eliminating the competition..”

Ain’t that the truth, if the pandemic didn’t kill them legislation wiped them out. And once wiped out they don’t come back.
