From Paul Kangas' 'Wall Street Wrap' And LM Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) down 2 7/16, even though it reported a 70 percent increase in full year earnings, but a spokesman told us there may be some disappointment on Wall Street with incoming orders. This standards war is very interesting. Clearly Europe constitutes pure gravy to QCOM if CDMA is in the loop. I'm certainly not a tech guy - but I have to believe the "compromise" is the sound of ERICY blinking. Somehow I think CDMA is in the loop. And since its here now and vodaphone trials indicate it can overlay w/o scrapping existing system, my guess is we see some limited implementation soon. Of course if I thought I knew what I was talking about, I'd have mortgaged the walker and loaded up. Pierre

Some comments on last years annual meeting... Parking was a problem. I got there about 20 minutes prior to the start and had to park pretty far away. I imagine that this year there will be more attendees. Ergo, my recomendation is to show up early... The meeting was held in a small auditorium (room for maybe 250), with chairs set up in the lobby in front of a large video. Most of the chairs in the lobby were taken. They had an excellent buffet of fruit, bagels, juices, coffee, etc. I was not hungry afterward. QCOM puts on a good show and had tables set up with product information and samples. I expect an even better show this year! Ramsey, what is the head count for Jasmine's?
