Up here they court the swing voters.. I would be one.. I have voted for every major party at one time or another.. some only provincially like NDP (Ontario, the year they actually won) and Parti Québecois (The first time they won :) down south I guess there call themselves independents :) .. Federally I have voted about 80% Conservative of one strip or another :) but even there I have voted Liberal... Sometimes you just need to send a message.. but yes.. the 4 year cycle seems to preclude getting much done.. up here (cycle length varies but not by much more than 4 years.. at times less) most of the platform promises that are actually kept happen in year final of current term ... imagine that... as to convincing base.. apparently last night Mr. Trump said he was OK with masks.. but he had `heard`that 85% of those wearing masks contract Covid .. I guess they are manufactured in China .. Wuhan province and likely infused with Covid virus LOL.. (Some follower of Mr. Trump may now likely take my statement as fact and not sarcasm .. sigh...) I would be crying were I an American ... but we don`t need Alex Baldwin mimicking Mr. Trump.. just watch the real thing :)
