Like the slower, but more chaotically swirling currents that emerge at a change of tides ? Or, like a shift in the breezes as a new weather system comes in, with a change in the air, and a change in the nature and direction of the flows soon to follow ? If its just the tide... you wait it out, since the chaos is short term, and will certainly yield to the inevitable... If its new breezes... and everyone seems confused by the changes... need to find new metrics that allow better parsing the drivers of changing patterns... before you can predict the change that's coming. Finding a barometer that works to decipher market changes... requires first understanding whats driving the patterns that you can see are changing... ?
