Bob, I agree with you on this one -- solving yields is THE problem, not messing around with upper management. AMD, and Jerry for that matter, is NOT going after Intel's strongest market, which is the high end. Rather, the K6-3D is an example of a market which Intel is neglecting by not updating the poorly conceived MMX instruction set. AMD saw a weakness (MMX is good for practically nothing), it saw an opening (Intel wasn't going to address this until 1999 Katmai) and it jumped.

Now they must execute.
