A friend of mine out here is a master electrician. He twigged me to the arc welder as back-up home generator. He's doing the electric install at a nearby slaughterhouse that's going up in response to the meat processing situation around the country/world. (I got him into some EMP research and he's making some "hardening" adjustments). Anyway, he's had no luck finding me the type of arc welder needed. Most places are recently out of stock. One item on my plan schedule is a generator by this Winter. Hmmm. The schedule takes precedence over taking time to wait for a lower alternative price point. Going to Denver to get a Kubota 7kw instead.
