I checked some units out after you mentioned welder - generators and the Kubota pictured was one . I had a Miller many years ago for pipe and equipment welding and it was also a 7 KW generator which came in handy after hurricane Andrew but Kubota's are a great piece of equipment. I have a Kubota tractor that I purchased new 14 years ago and no problems, just servicing is all. The neat thing about diesel is you can buy off road diesel and save like 30 to 40 cents a gallon on highway taxes.

If your electrician comes up with some tips on hardening please fill us in. The easiest thing I came up with is the use of Ferrites.

Hi Doug,

Learning to get to know those good ole country boys can be very common sensical and beneficial.

I have a nice generator, but would love a welder too!

If it is not too personal, please advise what the combo costs!

TIA

Bob
