I also fail to understand why there has to be 3rd party interventions. No one is forced to enter this board if they don't want to. No one has to read what anyone, who they find objectionable or irrelevant, has to say. They can just place them on "IGNORE", PLUS they can "SWITCH THEIR POSTS OFF", as I do, by using this useful SI feature.------> In so doing those "Objectionable" types virtually "vanish" from one's screen ..... so what's the problem ?? .... why the necessity for 3rd party intervention ?? The only time one will see any "activity" from these "Objectionable" types will be if one has a look into "Read Replies" that appears in the top right hand corner of one's post and that "Read Reply" is from an "Objectionable" type. If anyone else swears at you or uses particularly foul or abusive language, in a Non-Moderated forum, then one can report them to SI Management in terms of SI Rules, and SI Management will undoubtedly deal with them in an effective manner. So to recap :- NO ONE IS FORCED TO PARTICIPATE IN A BOARD. NO ONE HAS TO READ WHAT ONE DOESN'T WANT TO READ, THE "AUTHOR" CAN BE "SWITCHED OFF". IF ANYONE IS SWORN AT OR VERBALLY ABUSED, THE CULPRIT CAN BE REPORTED TO SI MANAGEMENT WHO WOULD BE OBLIGED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION. Q.E.D.
