A Y2K note: just received a circular from US Information Agency headquarters in Washington that they are using Keane for their code remediation projects.

Over a year ago I labeled Keane as my choice for a good Y2K play. I disagreed with a "Silver Bullet" type solution that the ZITLs and ACLYs of the world seemed to be advocating, and decided that service companies would be the best play.

Now, if I had only backed that up by actually buying the stock. :-)

Dale, thanks for note on Keane. They are heavily loaded with y2k business and doing well. Mr. Keane, chairman of KEA, has recently joined BROC board which is one of the reasons that I am so high on BROC.

Dale, the thing with Keane though is they don't have any remediation
products themselves. They need to license them. Since they are not a tool remediation company, the 450 assessments or so they have done,
will move into remediation with either Keane recommending tools or
using other companies tools themselves to do the work.
