Yes, we have ID cards, but are at the choice of each individual - like driver's licenses and passports. The government documents that everyone has are birth certificate, social security numbers - things like that.

Drivers Licenses have been compromised as a means of ID. Many liberal States decided to give Drivers Licenses to illegal aliens, courts upheld, and there is no way to tell who actually is a citizen and who isn't. Trump couldn't even get a count of citizens in the once per decade national census, thanks to John Roberts. Then to make things worse, Dems instituted Motor-Voter laws, upheld by courts, where everyone who applies for a Drivers License can automatically register to vote, without proof of citizenship. It's estimated that there are 20-30M illegal aliens in the US. Acceptable forms of ID include two recent utility bills with your name and address on them. Electric bill, phone bill, water bill, bank statement, etc.

bruwin, I do not know where your part of the world is, but your requirements to vote, make good sense. Our problem here is the Democratic Party wants illegal votes cast on their behalf and the United States Government has become so corrupt, that there are no consequences for those on the Left that break the law or commit treason. Here we have STYX saying much the same as I said, THE DAY AFTER I SAID IT, with regard to aspects of the American Electoral System that require URGENT IMPROVEMENTS AND OVERHAULING ........ I refer to the timing of STYX's comments, not because I'm trying to infer that he got anything FROM ME, but rather to indicate that I GOT NOTHING FROM HIM !!! ........... We both just happen to share the same OPINION about this important NATIONAL ISSUE FOR THE USA, bearing in mind that I'M A REALLY GREAT FAN OF THE USA, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON ITS CONSERVATIVES AND ITS CURRENT 45th PRESIDENT !!
