Maybe averaging down is associated with long term because most people who average down are deep underwater and will wait for years if they have to to get back to even. I don't see how recognizing a breakout with LPTHA and buying more for a trade on the way up has anything to do with long-term. If LPTHA would have had a more modest rise I probably would have held for longer. It went straight up. Stocks that go straight up go straight back down. I didn't sell all my LPTHA a couple of days after my averaging up anyway. I sold the rest in the next week or two.

I thought I did the thread a favor by telling them right after I sold so they wouldn't think I was still recommending it for purchase at that level.
