My brother went to McGill Medical School and married a French Canadian girl. He got married in Montreal. My whole family was very distraught by the way Trump treated Canada.

I hitchhiked from Quebec City to Vancouver in the early 1970's and spent a lot of time in Banf and Jasper's National Parks. I went to the stampede in Calgary. I experienced the great humanity of Canada. In Canada, police would stop me and ask if I wanted a ride to Youth Hostile. In USA, police would stop me and dump all the belongings of my back pack looking for drugs to arrest me and then leave after finding nothing. I know the difference between USA and Canada - though about half of US citizens are warm and nice like Canadians. It is the dirt bags that give US a bad name. I will tell you this, though. Northeastern United States loves Canada, especially NYC, Vermont, MA and NH. We view Canadians as part of our North American family.
