Do you know that it was the R's, led by Warren, who integrated schools?
Do you know that most of our environmental laws were under the R's?
Do you know it was the R's who broke the civil rights filibuster?
Do you know that Raygun gave amnesty to something like 11 million illegals?

"You need to read some history of the Republican party going back to Harding , Coolidge and Hoover and see what ass holes they were then,"
I notice you didn't go back to Wilson, our guy in the Klan.

Do you differentiate surviving small c conservatives from the extremist movement that accelerated when evangelical cons, the NRA plus Limbaugh and Hannity captured the messaging? Do you think the small c conservatives are the "enemy" similar to the way many (not you) in the far left saw Hillary and even Obama?

How long do you think the coalition of Lincoln Republicans and Democrats will last before the far left will poison them by us-them rhetoric? I hear "fuck them" constantly from the Bernie-or-bust group. Ironically even Bernie (not often true of his followers) wants to work "across the aisle."

It's currently skewed to the RW but from history I fear LW demagogues as much as RW demagogues. I fear that the angry tribes currently on the left will also become intolerant of each other in battles for power. We have to get along or their will be a civil war and tragically, might-will-make- right... And the majority of people who want to continue the American experiment of peaceful pragmatism in multi-ideology governance will suffer the most.
