Democrats are not for defunding the police. What they are advocating is changing the job description and having social workers or other agencies deal with stuff like drug addicts or domestic issues. Talk to some cops - they would love to have someone else dealing with a person who has mental issues with the right training. instead of reacting - talk to a Democratic elected official or better yet write to one and express your concerns.

<<Gov't doesn't do a damn thing for me so I prefer a small gov't>> ME ME ME! My world does NOT solely revolve around ME, but others too, especially those who are less fortunate than me. So, I prefer bigger gov't to help those in need. I am not worried about communism or socialism. I am worried about those who cannot afford to pay their expenses due to the virus. I am worried about those who cannot afford to see a physician and receive medical treatment due to high premiums. I do not look at the world solely from my lens, but also from other people's situations. I am not selfish, nor self-centered. The less fortunate other, which is inside me, matters a lot to me, just as much as "ME". I will respond to your other posts later.
