Here is a daily chart of the UK and you can see that it has gone a bit parabolic since the lockdown. The initial reaction was down, then big surge up.

And you think lockdowns will be bearish here in the USA with vaccines soon to be available? You are living in bearish fantasy land.

In a bull market, surprises are to the upside.

Investors/Traders have given the Market a temporary pass on valuations due to Covid. That's a fact. It is almost impossible to value most equities based on Pandemic. And you are arguing on behalf of valuations to support your bearish thesis? One can't value many companies based on Pandemic just yet. Market is in a way existing in a void. So, valuations have become subjective for many economically sensitive equities.

What we have here is an interpretation of what valuations might be after the Pandemic is over. There are no facts when it comes to valuations at present, just interpretations of what valuations may look like in a non-Covid Equity Market in the Future.

Welcome to the world of Transcendental Valuations.

Now most Investors/Traders may not like the valuations of most equities in 2-3 years when Covid is no longer with us. That may be grounds of a very severe multi-decade bear market.
